Lockheed MartinSEWIP will replace the U.S. Navy’s current electronic countermeasures system (AN/SLQ-32).  The “Slick 32” provides warning of incoming attacks and is integrated with other ship defenses to trigger the launch of chaff or other decoys.  Designed and built in the 1970’s, AN/SLQ-32 systems need to be replaced with more advanced electronics, antennas and software that is compatible with the other sensors and combat and information systems currently in the service.

The enclosures Electromet will build for SEWIP will protect critical electronic payloads for every ship in the Navy.
