In February 2009, Electromet was selected by Raytheon Network Centric Systems to provide the X-Band HPA electronic enclosures for the Navy Multi-band Terminal (NMT) program.  Electromet began providing the primary NMT enclosures to Raytheon in 2008 and the X-Band HPA is a companion enclosure.  The Navy’s NMT program will provide protected, wideband satellite communications (SATCOM) for all surface ships, submarines and shore stations.  It will provide the Navy a family of anti-jam, low-probability-of-intercept, and low-probability-of-detection EHF SATCOM terminals that will replace all of the WSC-6 SATCOM terminals currently in use.
