The Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) gives F-35 Lightning operators and maintainers the ability to plan ahead, maintain and sustain the system over the life of the air vehicle. ALIS provides the IT backbone and capabilities to support current and future warfighters around the world.
ALIS integrates a broad range of capabilities including operations, maintenance, prognostics, supply chain, customer support services, training and technical data. It provides a single, secure environment using web-enabled applications on a distributed network.
ALIS serves as the information infrastructure for the F-35, transmitting aircraft health and maintenance information to appropriate users on a globally-distributed network. It can even share information while the aircraft is in flight allowing pre-positioning of parts and qualified maintainers on the ground to minimize down time.
Electromet supports the ALIS program team including the F-35 Lightning Joint Program Office, NAVSEA, NAVAIR, Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics with rugged, shock and vibration qualified electronic cabinets. These cabinets protect the critical ALIS electronic modules installed on Navy vessels.
