Electromet Corp. is undertaking the building of a 16,000 square-foot storage facility at our campus at 829 Commonwealth Ave., Hagerstown, MD. This new facility continues our technical capabilities and facilities expansion, to better serve our clients in the defense industry.
The building “will allow Electromet the ability to store product and material that is currently occupying valuable space in our two facilities in Hagerstown. After the addition, we will be able to improve workflow, add additional equipment and hire approximately 10 additional personnel over the next two years to meet demands from our customers,” Dixon K. Hicks, executive vice president, wrote in an email last week.
