The U.S. Navy’s Technology Insertion-Hardware (TI-H) program is designed to provide submarine combat and sonar system upgrades using commercially available hardware and software. It encompasses the Seawolf, SSGN, 688/688I, Virginia class and future submarine systems and platforms. TI-H is the successor to seven technology insertion initiatives that were based on the AN/UYQ-70 program.

The Electromet Corporation began deliveries of T-IH cabinets, chassis, installation kits and machined and fabricated components to Lockheed Martin and its subcontractors (DRS Technologies and Progeny Systems) in July 2012 and the TI-H program is expected to continue for several years.

Previously, Electromet had supported Lockheed Martin and its subcontractors on the AN/UYQ-70 program and a long progression of technology insertion initiatives.
