The ISO 9001: 2015 standard is an evolutionary expansion of the long-standing ISO 9000 series of standards for Quality Management Systems (QMS) in use throughout industry and beyond. The 2015 revision focuses on risk management, leadership, organizational knowledge, performance, effective implementation of procedures and feeding back results so that procedures adapt over time, providing strategic agility. Electromet’s quality management system already included these components making the 2015 certification an official validation of our practices.
Although organizations have until 2018 to achieve certification to this new standard, Electromet chose to be at the leading edge of the certification cycle, becoming one of the very first companies in the United States to become ISO 9001: 2015 certified. Click to download certificate (PDF)
